Several Months Later

I can't remember my last post. I could read it but then I'd probably delay writing something.

The last few months have been a flying by so fast. I did have my wedding, which turned out to be wonderful. I was able to surround myself with the people that I love and appreciate being in my life while dancing my heart away to most of the 80's. Despite being asked to change seats (how RUDE) and having someone air my family laundry when he should have kept his mouth shut (i didn't know this until after the wedding, good thing), it was a good time. Which by the way, you didn't have to come to my wedding.

Michael and I talked previously about having an anniversary celebration in 25 years on a yacht (which is where I initially wanted to have a wedding) but have since come down to reality. Though we loved every moment and it was special, I don't think that I would ever do it again. Instead, I would probably take the money and go on a wonderful vacation or put in a pool.

The house has been overwhelming. We've been painting, pulling up pea rock in the yard, reseeding, etc. I wish that I could say it felt more like it was coming together but I feel like it's just a mess on top of a mess.
Craft Room

I have tried to keep up with my crafts. I did do the Claptois, which I feel like I should have chosen another yarn now that I have listened to everyone's information at The Hollywood Knitting Diva's in regards to adding more stitches to sock yarn. I'm in the process of making the Ultra Femme from the stitch n bitch book. And I made a Hallowig with Laboratory items (I made these up).

Anyway. Tomorrow I have the Brides Against Breast Cancer event. Which is a wonderful charity that is beneficial to the frugal bride with great taste and the people suffering from the condition.

I am giving myself tasks in which I would like to complete or at least work on. One of them being that I will try to forget some of the things that have been said at the wedding, about putting my mom in a home, etc. And to just try to improve my outlook on upward hills that everyone has to encounter. Additionally, I would like to make more charity donations. Like the lap blankets, squares, etc. Oh and I will try, try not to get upset when I receive Right Wing email forwards or forwards in general that just block up my email.
